As he scrolls through thousands of entries projected on the wall of his Salt Lake City ofce, each one dedicated to a diferent obscure public company—from a bank in Bangalore to an energy frm in Calgary—gardiner is beaming. “Nobody else is doing this much traveling,” he boasts.
