The com­pany has been doing re­search on e-gaso­line and syn­thet­i­cally man­u­fac­tured e-diesel for a few years. “Audi e-diesel has the po­ten­tial to make con­ven­tional com­bus­tion en­gines op­er­ate almost Co2-neu­trally,” said the au­tomaker.
