Build­ing on the ac­tivist tra­di­tion of con­scious­ness-rais­ing groups, each month Charis in­vites com­mu­nity mem­bers to join The Per­sonal is Still Political: Fem­i­nist Vent, a lightly fa­cil­i­tated group to talk about is­sues in their per­sonal lives or in so­ci­ety as a whole that they are try­ing to process or de­con­struct. The group will then use in­ter­sec­tional fem­i­nist strate­gies as tools to help talk through those is­sues.
