Come out for a re­cep­tion in honor of World AIDS Day and meet the artists and peo­ple liv­ing with HIV who made the Liv­ing With exhibit pos­si­ble. Pro­ceeds from ticket sales will sup­port Ge­or­gia Equal­ity’s 2017 HIV pro­gram­ming, whose staff works on the front lines to ad­dress root causes of HIV by ed­u­cat­ing and en­cour­ag­ing pol­i­cy­mak­ers and com­mu­nity lead­ers to lever­age their power to end AIDS once and for all. 6 – 9 p.m. Gallery 874, 874 Joseph E Low­ery Blvd. NW, At­lanta, GA 30318. The can­dle­light pro­ces­sion will take place from 10th & Mon­roe (at the East­line Gate­way) to the Am­phithe­ater at the His­toric Fourth Ward Park. There, or­ga­niz­ers will re­mem­ber those who came be­fore, share ex­pe­ri­ences and ex­change en­ergy to reaf­firm the com­mit­ment to find­ing a cure for AIDS (by fundrais­ing, ed­u­ca­tion and pub­lic in­volve­ment).
