The Taize ser­vice will in­clude sung prayers, sim­ple, beau­ti­ful mu­sic, a time of si­lence, spo­ken and silent prayers, and op­por­tu­nity for in­di­vid­ual prayer and anoint­ing. 201 The No More He­roes: Grass­roots Re­sponses to the Sav­ior Men­tal­ity event is this evening at Charis. How can we build a bet­ter world? And what is the role for peo­ple with priv­i­lege in so­cial jus­tice move­ments? A con­ver­sa­tion and book re­lease event fea­tures au­thor and jour­nal­ist Jor­dan Fla­herty and Tamika Mid­dle­ton, Co­or­di­na­tor, Kin­dred South­ern Heal­ing Jus­tice Col­lec­tive. Among the par­tic­i­pat­ing chefs are Carlton Brown from Oc­ca­sional Oc­ca­sions and Sean Suter from Trace At­lanta.
