PLAYERS TO WATCH
■ Brian Durkin, T-DE, Valley View: Physical player has helped the Cougars dominate the line of scrimmage in last six games.
■ Ben Dial, LB, North
Pocono: One of the best all-around athletes in LFC, has more than 90 tackles and returned two fumbles and an interception for touchdowns.
■ Scouting Valley View: Since a loss to Scranton Prep, the Cougars have
allowed 20 points in five games. Last week, the defense limited Coughlin to 210 total yards. Quarterback Chandler Fuller threw for 84 yards and a touchdown and Jake Osborne had 57 yards receiving and a touchdown. Osborne had a touchdown in the win over North Pocono in first meeting.
■ Scouting North
Pocono: Got the offense cranked up again after going 2-3 in last five weeks of season. The Trojans won their first playoff game since a win in the 1999 Eastern Conference playoffs. Matt Craig crossed the 1,000yard mark for rushing and Donny Blaine has 1,074 yards passing this season. The defense, which is led by Tyler Musgrave, JC Gaughan, Brett Butler and Mike Kowalski, who has six interceptions, limited Crestwood to 72 yards passing last week.
