SCOUTING REPORT

State College came short of finishing a perfect regular season, losing in Week 10 to Central Dauphin, 13-10.

The Little Lions have outscored their opponents 380-115 on the season.

The teams share one common opponent on the season in Mifflin County. Williamsport defeated Mifflin County in Week 2, 61-24. In Week 3, State College routed Mifflin County, 51-7.

Williamsport is 0-2 in the state playoffs, losing to Cumberland Valley in 1994 and Lower Dauphin in 1995.

State College is 14-16 overall, and lost in the 2009 Class 4A championship game to La Salle College.

Williamsport has the most dynamic offense in the WVC, finishing first in every offensive category. The Millionaires average 204.8 yards passing, 307.7 yards rushing and 512.5 yards per game.

On defense, the Millionaires allow 290.0 yards per game and 22.0 points per game.

Quarterback Isaiah Hankins has proven to be an accurate passer, completing 70.8 percent of his attempts with only four interceptions in 168 pass attempts.

Running back Trey Potts has rushed for 32 touchdowns on the season, while Marty Clark has rushed for eight scores on 59 attempts.

Elliott Walker leads the team in receptions with 34 and has a team-best 10 touchdowns, while Dante Wright has 23 catches and averages 25.0 yards per reception.

State College quarterback Tyler Snyder has thrown for 1,665 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has been intercepted nine times.

Running back Tristen Lyons has rushed for 587 yards and six touchdowns and averages 5.4 yards per carry.

Noah Woods is the leading receiver on the team and is followed by Brandon Clark with 26 catches for 349 yards and five touchdowns.

KEYS TO THE GAME 1. Establish the run

Williamsport will try to get Potts going early. That’s no secret. But for State College to have some success the Little Lions need to be able to run the ball.

2. Finish the job

State College must finish its tackles. The Millionaires have had success picking up yards after initial contact.

3. Hold your ground

State College needs to find a way to contain Hankins. He can beat you from the pocket and on the run.
