5 Reasons Kids Love South Seas

Great ways for families to get the most out of their stay at South Seas Island Resort

-

1. Outdoor Activities Explore as a family. Grab a bucket and go shelling. Older kids can kayak with mom and dad through a mangrove forest. Everybody can fish from the rocks and off the T-dock or ride bicycles together.

2. Camp Skullywags The resort’s camp program for children ages 3-11 centers around pirate-themed adventures such as under-sea explorations, mad science experiments, and whacky sports. Full- and half-day programs are offered.

3. Scout About The whole family can search for the 15 Points of Discovery at the resort. Use the Scoutabout map to discover dolphins, manatees, sunsets over the

Gulf and more. At each discovery point you get a wristband and once you’ve collected all 15, you’ll be welcomed into the Scoutabout Wall of Fame at the Skully’s Family Interactive Center.

4. Family Nature Walks Embark with marine educators on a hands-on ocean discovery walk—guided Bird Walk or Discover Shelling Walk—to explore the island’s ecosystems and marine habitats.

5. Pools & Slides Spend the day at the pool with your family. Choose from three swimming pools and two H2whoa! Water Slides. When hungry, order lunch poolside.
