Tele town hall

State Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-153, will host a tele­phone town hall meet­ing Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.

Res­i­dents will au­to­mat­i­cally re­ceive a phone call at the start of the meet­ing. To “at­tend” the meet­ing, all they need to do is stay on the phone. The meet­ing will con­sist of a live leg­isla­tive up­date touch­ing on ma­jor is­sues in the dis­trict and Harrisburg, as well as a ques­tion-an­dan­swer pe­riod.

Con­stituents can lis­ten to the town hall, ask ques­tions and take part in polls – all through a touch-tone phone.

“If you have a ques­tion about any state or lo­cal is­sue af­fect­ing the 153rd Leg­isla­tive Dis­trict, I en­cour­age you to just pick up the phone when it rings at 7 p.m. Thurs­day.”

Those who don’t have their ques­tions an­swered live dur­ing the dis­cus­sion will have an op­por­tu­nity to record their ques­tion and for­wDUG LW WR DHDn’V RI­fiFH.

Res­i­dents also can send a ques­tion be­fore the event to town­hall@ pa­house.net.
