Disorderly conduct … Karen Maxwell, 18, of Moreland Road, Willow Grove, was charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 7 after her vehicle was stopped in Crestmont Park located at Old Welsh Road and Reservoir Avenue in Willow Grove at 6:46 p.m., police said. Authorities confiscated a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle, police said.
Disorderly conduct … Travis Messing, 19, of Fortune Road, Glenside, was charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 23 after he left the Wawa on the 2400 block of Susquehanna Road at 1:51 a.m. with a sandwich he did not pay for, police said.
Criminal mischief … Martin Difrancesco, Jr., of Cumberland Road, Abington, was charged with criminal mischief Aug. 25 at 4:18 p.m. after a victim reported that he smashed their cellular phone and smashed the windshield of their vehicle by jumping on it on the 2200 block of Moreland Road, police said.
Disorderly conduct … Paige Adams, 24, of North Penn Street, Hatboro, was charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 28 after admitting to police she had a small amount of marijuana on her person at 1:51 p.m. at the intersection of Easton Road and Hamilton Avenue, police said. Adams was also charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 30 after police found her yelling and shouting obscenities at occupants of a home in the 2300 block of Edwards Road at 4:58 p.m., police said.
Public drunkenness … Jamie Fleury, 36, of Mill Road, Meadowbrook, was cited with public drunkenness after police observed Fleury in a verbal dispute at the Meadowbrook Train Station located in the 1600 block of Old Valley Road at 8 p.m., police said. Fleury was extremely intoxicated, police said.
Disorderly conduct … Robert Hopkins, 45, of Monroe Avenue, Glenside, was charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 29 after police stopped a vehicle at Jenkintown Road and Penn Avenue at 10:41 p.m., police said. Authorities confiscated a marijuana pipe from the vehicle, police said.
Public drunkenness … Moises Robles-Maldonado, 23, of Park Avenue, Willow Grove, was charged with public drunkenness Aug. 29 after police observed Robles-Maldonado at the intersection of Easton and Davisville roads stumbling on the sidewalk at 10:35 p.m., police said.
Retail theft … Lauren Lambert, 21, of Sprague Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft Sept. 3 after a Target security officer observed Lambert conceal A210 worth of merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying at the store in the 1400 block of Old York Road at 8:37 p.m., police said.
Disorderly conduct … Molly Fanning, 24, of Edge Hill Road, Glenside, was charged with disorderly conduct Sept. 5 after a victim reported that someone was banging on their door at 11:51 p.m. on the 200 block of Edge Hill Road, police said. Fanning said she was looking for her boyfriend and the victim said she did not know Fanning or her boyfriend, police said. Fanning was intoxicated, police said.
DUI … Harvey Carroll, 54, of North 11th Street, Philadelphia, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding Aug. 18 after police ob- served a vehicle speeding down Old York Road near Woodland Road going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone at 2:05 p.m., police said. Police stopped the vehicle and detected the odor of alcohol coming from Carroll’s breath. He admitted to having two beers, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Fastrack for further testing, police said. Test results showed that his BAC was 0.153 percent, police said.
Possession … Brianna L. Taylor, 25, of Russett Drive, Warminster, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 20 after police responded to a report that a patient at Abington Memorial Hospital was in possession of drugs at 2:20 a.m., police said. The nurse treating Taylor found syringes and several blue wax envelopes in her gown pocket, police said. A hospital security officer also found a pill bottle and more wax envelopes in her purse, police said. Authorities confiscated the contraband and submitted it to the National Medical Service for testing, police said. Test results showed that Taylor was in possession of the depressant Alprazolam, heroin and cocaine, police said.
Forgery … Nile J. Dowling, 29, of Parrish Street, Philadelphia, was charged with forgery, theft by deception, bad checks, identity theft and forged or counterfeit documents Aug. 23 after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check valued at A1,820.23 under a false name at the Susquehanna Bank in the 100 block of Old York Road at 11:47 a.m., police said.
Possession … Dustin M. Heiser, 35, Coolidge Avenue, Willow Grove, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 24 after police observed Heiser riding a BMu bicycle at Woodland and Edwards roads at 4:34 p.m., police said. Police observed Heiser riding in the street and on the sidewalk and observed him riding toward a couple pushing a stroller forcing them onto a curbside, police said. Police stopped Heiser and confiscated a marijuana bowl from his pants pockets, police said. The bowl had marijuana residue on it, police said.
Possession … Martin S. McCorriston, 45, of School House Road, Telford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness; and Joshua Brown, 32, of North Broad Street, Philadelphia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Aug. 26 after police responded to the report of a fight at the 19th Hole located in the 3000 block of Jenkintown Road at 8:22 p.m., police said. Both had been arguing and haan odor of alcohol on their breath and slurred speech, police said. Police confiscated an Oxycontin pill from Brown’s pants pocket, police said.
Retail theft … Lashawn S. Bean, 22, of Wyalusing Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property Aug. 35 after a Bloomingdale’s loss prevention officer observed Bean select various pieces of merchandise, enter a fitting room, conceal the items in her purse and exit the dressing room and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items at the Bloomingdale’s at the Willow Grove Park mall at 6:20 p.m., police said. The loss prevention officer stopped Bean and recovered the A790 worth of merchandise she had taken, police said. She was transported to Abington Police Department, police said.
Forgery … A warrant was issued for the arrest of Lisa Harris, 33, of South 6th Street, Camden, N.J., who was charged with forgery, bad checks, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property, securing execution of documents by deception, the unlawful use of computers and other computer crimes, criminal attempt, the use of a stolen credit card and the possession of a stolen credit card Aug. 28 after she opened an account at First Niagara Bank located in the 700 block of Huntingdon Pike and deposited a forged check valued at A12,738, and withdrew A2,000 from the account, police said. The following day Harris attempted to withdraw funds from the account, but she was declined, police said. She was arrested and transported to Abington Police Department where she admitted to forgery, police said.
