Drug charges … Jalil Pleasant, 38, of the 500 block of Woodland Avenue, Cheltenham, was charged with possession of an illegal substance with intent to deliver Sept. 11 after a vehicle he was a passenger in was pulled over at Coventry and Asbury avenues at 12:30 a.m. and he was found to
have concealed marijuana, police said.
Retail theft … Karla Dangerfield, 32, of the 5700 block of Addison Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 11 after taking A234.26 in goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.
Burglary … A home in the 1100 block of Arboretum Road was broken into Sept. 11, police said. Entry was made by breaking a rear kitchen window and the home was found ransacked at 5:26 p.m., police said, but nothing appeared t o be missing.
Burglary … Three construction trailers at the Cheltenham Elementary School, 7853 Front St., were broken into overnight Sept. 11, police said. Tools including a DeWalt charger, batteries valued at A65 each, three gas cans, valued between A40 and A50, and a DeWalt screw gun valued at A100 were taken, police said. A TV/ DVD player valued between A100 and A200 was taken from a second trailer, police said.
Theft … Four hubcaps were reported stolen at 8:56 a.m. Sept. 12 from a vehicle parked i n the 7400 block of Easton Road, police said.
Retail theft … Kevin Radford, 54, of the 1600 block of South 54th Street, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 12 after taking A19.94 in goods from Home Depot, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.
Robbery … A 17-yearold male was the victim of an attempted robbery at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 12 while he was walking in the 900 block of West Cheltenham Avenue, police said. A black male, age 18 to 20, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans, accompanied by other males around the same age, approached the victim and punched and kicked him and attempted to take his book bag, police said. The victim had a swollen eye and facial bruises and was taken by a relative to a hospital, police said.
Vandalism … A victim parked i n the 1300 block of Willow Avenue, Elkins Park, was found entirely scratched with a key at 9:52 a.m. Sept. 13, police said.
Retail theft … Evonne Colley, 26, of t he 5900 block of North Opal Street, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft at 10:04 a.m. Sept. 13 after taking A68.10 in goods from Pathmark, 1000 S. Easton Road, police said.

Retail theft … A 14-year-old Philadelphia girl was cited for retail theft at 8:06 p.m. Sept. 14 after taking two pair of Timberland boots, valued at A129.88, from Burlington Coat Factory, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.
Retail theft … Two cellphones, valued at A1,300, were ripped off their security cords and stolen by t wo men at the AT&T store, 1000 S. Easton Road, around 8:30 p.m. Sept. 14, police said. Both were described as black males, 5 feet 10 inches, with beards; one was wearing a burgundy hat with white trim, burgundy sweater-vest and blue jeans, and the other was wearing a blue hat, deep gray and light gray jacket and blue jeans, police said.
Loitering … A 17-year-old Philadelphia male was arrested around 11 p.m. Sept. 14 after being seen running through private properties and loitering in the 1600 block of Juniper Avenue, police said, and he will receive a juvenile petition.
Theft … Laveda Crawley, 49, of no known address, was charged with theft at 1:47 p.m. Sept. 15 after failing to pay a A21.64 bill at Chili’s, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.
Theft … A wallet containing about A100 cash, credit cards and a driver ’s license, was discovered missing from a purse in the kitchen of a home in the 600 block of Davis Road at 2:20 p.m. Sept. 15, police said. No rooms had been ransacked, police said.
Theft … A wallet was stolen from a pocketbook while t he victim was at the Cheltenham Square Mall around 6:45 p.m. Sept. 15, police said.
Public drunkenness … Shyenia Tomlin, 28, of Smedley Street, Philadelphia, was cited for public drunkenness after officers were called to the KFC, 8140 Ogontz Ave., for a disturbance at 8 p.m. Sept. 15, police said.
Fraud … A resident reported Sept. 16 that after trying to put a deposit on a rental property by sending a A400 MoneyGram to a person in Nigeria, he was asked for additional money and then tried to cancel t he first transaction, which was not successful, police said.
Retail theft … Robert Ingram, 43, of the 2400 block of West Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia; and Lisa Dozier, 49, of the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, Wyncote, were cited for retail theft at 1:24 p.m. Sept. 16 after taking A74.95 in goods from Pathmark, 1000 S. Easton Road, police said.
