PAL fest on tap

The Abing­ton Po­lice Ath­letic League in­vites the community to the Hooray for PAl­ly­wood In­ter­na­tional Food Fes­ti­val Oct. 9 from 5W30 to 8 p.m. at Philmont Coun­try Club, 301 Tom­lin­son Road, Hunt­ing­don sal­ley. Those who at­tend can ex­pect to min­gle and have pic­tures taken with some well­known “stars of the big screen” as they sam­ple sig­na­ture dishes and bev­er­ages from more than 30 restau­rants, cater­ers, and bev­er­age pur­vey­ors.

This year’s fes­ti­val will honor the found­ing ef­forts and on­go­ing sup­port of re­cently re­tired Chief of Mont­gomery County De­tec­tives Os­car sance as well as Abing­ton Po­lice De­tec­tive Sgts. Greg rrban and Tony DiSan­dro, who have gone above and be­yond their du­ties to help raise the needed fi­nances to make Abing­ton PAL pos­si­ble.
