Vandalism … A CAT track hoe was found with sand poured into its hydraulic tank while parked in the lot at the Cheltenham Fire Company, 413 oyers Avenue, around 7:40 p.m. Oct. 8, police said.
Theft … Twelve pair of blue jeans, valued at A720, were reported stolen from a dryer at iynnewood dardens at 1:54 p.m. Oct. 8, police said.
Theft … Change was taken from an unlocked vehicle found ransacked while parked in the 900 block of dilbert ooad between 11 p.m. Oct. 8 and 12:10 a.m. Oct. 9, police said.
Attempted burglary … Officers responding to a burglar alarm at 10:48 a.m. Oct. 9 at a home in the 1100 block of Coventry Avenue, blkins Park, found fresh footprints on a covered patio as well as damage to a back door frame, but entry was not made, police said.
Burglary … A home in the 7300 block of Oak iane Avenue was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 9 and jewelry and unique glass items were taken, police said. The rear door was forced to gain entry, police said.
Burglary … A home in the 800 block of dilbert ooad was broken into by pushing in a front window between 7:15 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. Oct. 9, police said. jultiple rooms had been ransacked, but it was not known what was taken, police said.
Theft … About A15 was taken from two vehicles ransacked while parked in the 500 block of Arbor ooad overnight Oct. 8, police said.
Retail theft … A black female, late 30s to early 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches, with a medium build and pony tail, wearing big earrings, a black shirt, bright red jeans and a Phillies backpack, was observed concealing numerous items on herself and in her backpack at talmart, 1000 S. baston ooad, around 8:40 p.m. Oct. 9, police said. The woman was approaching a red vehicle operated by a male in the lot when a security guard identified himself and the driver of the vehicle
locked the doors and left the area, police said. The woman was last seen running south across Cheltenham Avenue into the city, police said.
Warrant … tilfredo Santiago, 19, of the 7900 block of genkintown ooad, Cheltenham, turned himself in at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Cheltenham Police Station on a Cheltenham warrant charging him with simple assault and terroristic threats in an Oct. 8 incident, police said.
Attempted burglary … An attempt was made to break into a home in the 600 block of Central Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 9, police said. A screen was found ripped down, but no entry was made, police said.
Theft … A vehicle parked in the 100 block of vew ooad was found at 8:52 a.m. Oct. 10 with the lug nuts removed, police said.
Assault … Two male students at Cheltenham High School were involved in a physical fight at 8 a.m. Oct. 10 at the school, police said.
Retail theft … Anatoliy Dokhat, 39, of jillville, k.g., was cited for retail theft Oct. 10 after taking A16.97 in goods from Home Depot, 2385 t. Cheltenham Ave., around 9:50 a.m., police said.
Fraud … A credit card stolen at iA Fitness, 1000 S. baston ooad, Oct. 10 was used to make unauthorized purchases, police said.
Theft … A hearing aid valued at A6,500 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 8000 block of Hammond ooad Oct. 10, police said.
Theft … About A5 in change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Croyden ooad overnight Oct. 10, police said.
Retail theft … Angelique Simmons, 22, of the 2400 block of 77th Avenue, Philadelphia; Brittany test, 20, of the 2300 block of 77th Avenue; and oonnie Talbert, 36, of the 1300 block of test herbaugh Street, Philadelphia, were charged with retail theft Oct. 11 after taking A662.68 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers iane, around 1:50 p.m., police said. Simmons was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant, police said.
Theft … A person was observed going through the glove box of a vehicle parked at daetano’s Pizza, 7410 Front Street, around 3:25 p.m. Oct. 11 and was last seen running westbound on Dewey ooad with some papers from the vehicle, police said.

Theft … An iPod and A10 in change were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at Park Spring janor, 7876 Spring Ave., overnight Oct. 10, police said.
Bike taken … About four to five male teens, age 15 to 16, were observed pulling a bike through yards in the 7600 block of Brookfield ooad around 6:35 p.m. Oct. 11 and when a resident yelled at them, they dropped the bike, which was returned to the owner, police said.
Retail theft … Hilliard Fontaine, 68, of weiglerville, Pa., was cited for retail theft at 10:54 a.m. Oct. 12 at Home Depot, 2385 t. Cheltenham Ave., after taking A59.29 in goods, police said.
Theft … hevin tilliams, 18, of the 2000 block of tilmot Street, Philadelphia, was taken into custody at 11:23 a.m. Oct. 12 after he was observed opening two packages behind a property in the 200 block of Central Avenue that were addressed to a different person, police said. He was charged with theft, receiving stolen property and firing a gun on a public highway, according to court records.
Fraud … A resident reported Oct. 12 that the victim’s ATj card was fraudulently used at a hmart in the Bronx, k.v., to charge A188, police said.
Attempted burglary … An attempt was made to break into hatherine Hall, 1750 Ashbourne ooad, Oct. 12, police said. An outer pane of glass was found broken and the window screen cut, but the inner pane was not broken, police said.
Theft … kinety-eight dollars was reported stolen from an unsecured purse at 6:55 p.m. Oct. 13 at Shopoite, 2385 t. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

Retail theft … goseph Hill Coles, 19, of the 7900 block of Pickering Street, Philadelphia, and an unidentified juvenile were cited for retail theft Oct. 14 after leaving Burlington Coat Factory, 2385 t. Cheltenham Ave., at 11:25 a.m. without paying for kike sneakers they took, police said. The items were recovered, police said.
