If you didn’t know that the match be­tween Up­per More­land and Lower MoreODnG wDV WKH fiUVW URunG RI the Dis­trict One Class AA play­offsI you would have thought it was the cham­pi­onship game by the way the two sides played. Filled with chippy playI smack talkI late drama and loud fan sec­tionsI this match took on the true essence of play­off soc­cer.

“We faced these guys early in the yearI it was a very com­pet­i­tive and very heated game and I expected WKH VDPH KHUH,” /RwHU 0Rre­land coach Matt Crouch said. “We prac­ticed penalty shots yes­ter­day in an­tic­i­pa­tion of a close gameI I’m glad we didn’t have to use WKHP.”

Lower More­land was the bet­ter team throughout and took the match 3-O. Us­ing a de­fense an­chored by kick Reimold and two goals from front man An­drew CostaI the Lions earned an emo­tional vic­tory.
