State Sen. LeAnJ na tash­ing­ton anJ nounced that she has part­nered with seriJ zon Hope­Line to colJ l ect old cell phones, which will be used to help sur­vivors of doJ mes­tic vi­o­lence.

Phones do­nated at eit her of tash­ingJ t on’s dis­trict of­fices will be dis­trib­uted through t he ser­i­zon Hope­Line, which is a spon­sor of t he Rth An­nual talk t o End Do­mes­tic sio­lence. The ser­i­zon HopeJ Line re­pur­poses and dis­trib­utes do­nated cell phones t o af­fectJ ed do­mes­tic vi­o­lence sur­vivors so t hat t hey may have an emerJ gency line in times of need.

Do­na­tions will be ac­cepted at both of tash­ing­ton’s dis­trict of­fice t hrough­out t he month of Oc­to­ber. The ooslyn dis­trict of­fice is l ocated at 1168 Eas­ton ooad.
