Michael g oyan, 66, of dlen­side, died Oct. 18, O01O. He was the husJ band of 4O years to De­boJ rah (nee Cliff) and fa­ther of gen­nifer Boyd, Amy Sch­midt and Missy MonJ ser­rat. He is also sur­vived by six grand­chil­dren; his sis­ters, Mar­i­lyn Farmer and Eileen O’Do­herty; and his broth­ers, Larry and Den­nis.

Michael re­tired from the Philadel­phia Elec­tric Co. af­ter 3R years. He was a mem­ber of the dreater dlen­side Pa­tri­otic AsJ so­ci­a­tion. He chaired the Chil­dren’s Morn­ing ProJ gram for 3O years.

He grad­u­ated in 1964 from Bishop McDe­vitt High School, where he was the cap­tain of the football team. Michael and Deb­o­rah co­ordiJ nated the gui­tar Mass at St. Luke’s for nearly 10 years. He was an avid guiJ tar player.

A funeral ser­vice was held ted­nes­day, 10 a.m. at the tilliam o. May Funeral Home, 3R4 N. Eas­ton od., dlen­side, PA 19038. oel­a­tives and friends were in­vited to the funeral home for his viewJ ing Tues­day evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and ted­nesJ day from 9 to 10 a.m.
