Hainan Air­lines adopts Air­bus’ A350 for flights from Bei­jing to Shanghai start­ing from Fri­day, and it is the first time for the com­pany to fly with an A350.

The air­line plans to in­tro­duce four A350-900s this year, ac­cord­ing to a mes­sage it sent to the Global Times via email. Shan­dong Prov­ince, mak­ing this he­li­copter the first of 100 H135s to be de­liv­ered to China per a frame­work agree­ment signed in June 2016.

The H135 was de­liv­ered in he­li­copter emergency med­i­cal ser­vices (HEMS) con­fig­u­ra­tion, fully equipped with the lat­est med­i­cal in­te­rior, and will per­form life-sav­ing emergency med­i­cal ser­vices (EMS) mis­sions in Qing­dao and its sur­round­ing ar­eas. It is also the first H135 with Air­bus’ lat­est gen­er­a­tion He­lionix avion­ics
