The Bruce Museum will host an art workshop on “Techniques for Science Illustration” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday led by paleoartist and author James Gurney. Use water-soluble colored pencils, watercolors, and gouache to depict real museum specimens. Materials will be provided, but attendees may bring their own portable water-media setup if preferred. Suggested for participants age 12 and up. Slots are limited; early registration is suggested. Cost is $40 for members, $55 for non-members. Reservations required at brucemuseum.org.
