Fall Fest Features food, fun & music
Fall Fest, a celebration of pioneer life with demonstrations, tours and activities benefitting the Pound House, will be held on the museum grounds Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a chance for the entire family to experience early Texas life. Fall Fest includes:
Demonstrations of early pioneer crafts and skills;
Art projects and games for kids including the washer toss and sack races;
Great music all day including performances by Michael Myers, the Hill Country Community Band, and the Lost John Casner Band;
Children’s stage featuring Michael and John Doucet, Goof Proof Juggling, storyteller Lisa Baker, Dragonfly Community Performers, and More than Spanish;
On-the-spot appraisal of your antique treasures by Cyndi Brown and Dottie Oakford of Hidden Treasures for a $5 donation per item (all of proceeds to benefit the Pound House); and
Barbecue and other great food including handground coffee and pound cake.
