MAKE: Ameriglo/Dave Spaulding MODEL: Spaulding CAP Sights

URL: www.HandgunCombatives.com MSRP: $90

Designed for Ameriglo by Dave Spaulding, CAP stands for “combat application pistol.” With input from eye surgeons, Spaulding designed the sights for rapid front sight acquisition in a crisis. And fast it is. While most sights rely on a round aiming point on the front sight, CAP sights use a square front, which is easier to position within the square inner blades of the rear sight (in other words, “square in a square,” versus “round dots in a square”).

The Spaulding model has a flat black serrated rear sight, while the CAP rear sight has an index line for low light. The sights are metal and feature glowin-the-dark/tritium.
