The AM-4 is an AL MAR knives design made by Kershaw. It’s sleek and narrow, making for an excellent EDC knife that doesn’t take up much room. Plus, it has a deep-carry pocket clip for excellent concealability. The blade is a modified drop point, is 3.5 inches long and is manufactured of 8Cr13MoV steel with a handsome satin finish. The even-morehandsome G-10 front scale is rounded and polished for a smoothas-silk feel; it looks and feels great, but it isn’t so easy to hold onto with wet hands. The back of the handle is made of steel with a frame lock to keep the blade securely opened. It is one-handed assisted opening via the flipper or thumb stud. We found the thumb stud to be a bit small and hard to use, but the flipper works great. Red tube spacers are the finishing touch to this visual masterpiece.

The AM-4 is well made and perfect for situations in which a bit of refinement and class are in order.
