Men’s hockey: UConn falls to Northeastern, 3-2
Northeastern rallied for two thirdperiod goals and defeated UConn 3-2 in men’s hockey on Friday night in Boston. The Huskies fell to 4-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in Hockey East. Roman Kinal had a goal and an assist to lead UConn. Tyler Madded had a goal and an assist for Northeastern (5-3-1, 2-1-1). … Yale’s Joe Snively, who had two points, scored after 9:56 of the third period to tie it, countering a goal 30 seconds earlier by Harvard’s Reilly Walsh, and neither team could score in overtime of a 3-3 draw at New Haven. Yale’s Corbin Kaczperski finished with 30 saves and Harvard’s Michael Lackey had 32. Yale is 2-1-1 overall and in the ECAC, and Harvard remained winless. … Daniel Winslow, Chase Priskie and Odeen Tufto all scored goals and Peter DiLiberatore had two assists in Quinnipiac’s 3-0 win over Rensselaer. Quinnipiac is 7-1-0, 2-1-0 in the ECAC. Rensselaer is 3-5-0, 3-2-0.
