Men’s hockey: UConn falls to Northeastern, 3-2

Northeastern ral­lied for two third­pe­riod goals and de­feated UConn 3-2 in men’s hockey on Fri­day night in Bos­ton. The Huskies fell to 4-4-1 over­all and 2-3-1 in Hockey East. Ro­man Ki­nal had a goal and an as­sist to lead UConn. Tyler Madded had a goal and an as­sist for Northeastern (5-3-1, 2-1-1). … Yale’s Joe Snively, who had two points, scored af­ter 9:56 of the third pe­riod to tie it, coun­ter­ing a goal 30 sec­onds ear­lier by Har­vard’s Reilly Walsh, and nei­ther team could score in over­time of a 3-3 draw at New Haven. Yale’s Corbin Kaczper­ski fin­ished with 30 saves and Har­vard’s Michael Lackey had 32. Yale is 2-1-1 over­all and in the ECAC, and Har­vard re­mained win­less. … Daniel Winslow, Chase Priskie and Odeen Tufto all scored goals and Peter DiLib­er­a­tore had two as­sists in Quin­nip­iac’s 3-0 win over Rens­se­laer. Quin­nip­iac is 7-1-0, 2-1-0 in the ECAC. Rens­se­laer is 3-5-0, 3-2-0.
