Robert J. “RJ” Camp­bell Sr., 87, of Keaau died Aug. 13 at Yukio Okutsu State Veter­ans Home in Hilo. Born in Water­town, N.Y., he was a pri­vate ven­ture in­vestor and man­age­ment con­sul­tant, for­merly em­ployed by Link Group-Gen­eral Pre­ci­sion Inc., Fri­den Inc., Bai­ley Con­trols Co., Bridge­stone Man­age­ment Group and a U.S. Air Force vet­eran. No ser­vices. Sur­vived by wife, Clarita Camp­bell; sons, Robert (Mar­cia) Camp­bell Jr. and Stephen P. Camp­bell; hanai daugh­ter, Julie (Lo­brend) Ban­nis­ter; brother, Keith A. Den­nis Pre­ston Davis, 76, of Kapoho died Aug. 1 at home. Born in Pasadena, Calif., he owned an ar­chi­tec­tural ser­vices firm and was a U.S. Army vet­eran. Cel­e­bra­tion of life at a later date. Agnes Fre­itas Hunter, 87, of Tiga Cay, S.C., died Aug. 28 in Rock Hill, S.C. Born in Hilo, she was re­tired from the U.S. Depart­ment of Al­co­hol, To­bacco and Firearms and a mem­ber of Beta Sigma Phi. Me­mo­rial Ser­vice at a later date. Ernest James Jack­son, 39, of Pa­hoa died Aug. 24 in Pa­hoa. He was a home builder and owner of Full Spec­trum Home Im­prove­ments.
