Hawaii Is­land Toast­mas­ters com­pete at speech con­test

Big Is­land Toast­mas­ters from Hilo, Kona and Waimea par­tic­i­pated in the Di­vi­sion C Toast­mas­ters speech con­tests Sept. 30 in Honolulu.

Sharon Jus­tice of Hilo took first place and Marie Fel­len­stein Hale of Waimea placed sec­ond in the Speech Eval­u­a­tion Con­test. Jeff Mori of Waimea won Hu­mor­ous Con­test.

Di­vi­sion C con­test win­ners ad­vance to the fi­nals Nov. 4 dur­ing the District 49 Toast­mas­ters con­fer­ence in Honolulu.
