Janet Hisano Souza, 90, of Pa­paikou died Oct. 30 at Hos­pice of Hilo Po­hai Malama Care Cen­ter. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a re­tired county tax of­fice clerk and mem­ber of Im­mac­u­late Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hawaii Gov­ern­ment Em­ploy­ees As­so­ci­a­tion, Sa­cred Heart So­ci­ety of Im­mac­u­late Heart of Mary, and hon­orary mem­ber of South Hilo Ro­tary Club. Visi­ta­tion 8-9:30 a.m. Fri­day (Nov. 17) at Im­mac­u­late Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pa­paikou. Mass at 10 a.m. Pri­vate burial to fol­low. Ca­sual at­tire; no flow­ers.
