Jerry Lynn Davis, 69, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 16 at Hospice of Kona’s Naka­maru Hale in Holu­aloa. Born in Wi­chita, Kan., he was a re­tired con­trac­tor. Ser­vices at a later date. Sur­vived by son, Aaron Davis of Kailua-Kona; daugh­ters, Jer­ady Davis and Sierra Davis of Kailua-Kona; daugh­ter-in-law, Con­nie Davis of Louisiana; brother, Monte Davis of Cal­i­for­nia; sis­ter, Loretta (Al) Seas­trand of Cal­i­for­nia; four grand­chil­dren. Lala S. Epe­nesa Jr., 50, of Honokaa died Jan. 4 at The Queen’s Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Honolulu. Born in Honokaa, he was a main­te­nance su­per­vi­sor for county Parks and Re­cre­ation, youth coach for sev­eral sports, mem­ber of Ha­makua Lions Club and Den­ver Bron­cos fan.
