Sig­nif­i­cant Achieve­ments: Nel­son de­vel­oped and im­ple­mented an IT strat­egy in sup­port of the HSS strate­gic roadmap. She led the hos­pi­tal’s de­ci­sion and im­ple­men­ta­tion process to com­pletely re­place its best-of-breed legacy sys­tems with the Epic EMR across in­pa­tient and am­bu­la­tory set­tings for all clin­i­cal and rev­enue cy­cle ap­pli­ca­tions.
