Lyft driv­ers ar­rested for per­mit vi­o­la­tion

State At­tor­ney Gen­eral Depart­ment in­ves­ti­ga­tors ar­rested two Lyft driv­ers Thurs­day for al­legedly pro­vid­ing com­mer­cial ser­vice at Honolulu Air­port with­out the proper per­mit, ac­cord­ing to the at­tor­ney gen­eral’s of­fice.

The ar­rests were part of a state Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion in­ves­ti­ga­tion, ac­cord­ing to at­tor­ney gen­eral’s spokesman Joshua Wisch. He iden­ti­fied the driv­ers as An­to­nio Quito and Kathryn Xian.

“The ar­rests were made be­cause of mul­ti­ple com­plaints that were made re­gard­ing this kind of ac­tiv­ity oc­cur­ring at the air­port, de­spite ci­ta­tions hav­ing been pre­vi­ously is­sued,” Wisch said in an email Fri­day.
