Honolulu firefighters extinguished a garage fire in a twostory family home Wednesday afternoon in Hawaii Kai.
The fire started at about 4:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Kaeleku Street, and two males were able to escape without injury, said Honolulu Fire Department Capt. David Jenkins.
About 35 firefighters responded and found smoke and flames coming from the garage. The fire was under control within 15 minutes and extinguished at 5:20 p.m.
