Injured hiker rescued from Koko Crater
Firefighters rescued a woman who was injured Friday evening while hiking the Koko Crater Trail.
The Fire Department responded at 6:16 p.m. to a report of an injured hiker, who was in stable condition. Four companies with 12 personnel were dispatched.
The woman was about 100 steps from the top of the trail. Firefighters hiked the trail to the woman, then treated, stabilized and airlifted her to a waiting ambulance at Koko Head Park.
