Age 50, of Wahi­awa, Hawaii, passed away peace­fully on April 19, 2017, at Pali Momi Med­i­cal Cen­ter. He was born in Waimea, Kauai on Jan­uary 25, 1967, grew up in Mililani, and grad­u­ated from Kame­hameha Schools in 1985. He was pre­ceded in death by his mother, Con­suella "Con­nie" Bermodez. He is sur­vived by his fa­ther Jamie; his wife Malia; his sis­ter Moana (Ray­mond) Callejo; his brother Chauncy (Jen­nifer); two step­daugh­ters, Dawn (Frank) Browne of Vir­ginia and Tarah Baguio of Idaho; step­son Kawika Baguio, a U.S. Navy sailor cur­rently sta­tioned in Kana­gawa, Ja­pan; a grand­daugh­ter; a niece; 6 neph­ews; and many un­cles, aun­ties, and cousins. A cel­e­bra­tion of his life will be held on Sun­day, May 28 at the Mauka Chapel of Mililani Memo­rial Park. Visi­ta­tion be­gins at 5 pm to be fol­lowed by ser­vice at 6 pm. Re­fresh­ments will be pro­vided and din­ner served in the hall fol­low­ing ser­vice.
