STANLEY GOICHI HIGASHI
Just 68 years old, Paul is a graduate of Hilo High School Class of 1967. Paul was born August 10, 1949 to Seiichi and Totsue Matsuda (deceased). Paul is survived by son Joshua Matsuda, stepson Jesse Suderman, "Sweetheart" Valerie Fugere, goddaughter Keren Siket, sister Jean Young (Robert), nieces Joy Champaloux and Jodie Young.
Paul is the Founder and President of The Service Group Inc., a food brokerage company formed in 1979. Devoted Father, partner, businessman, friend, brother, uncle, he is dearly missed. Paul was a friend and teacher to all reminding us what was most important in life. Paul would always say: "Two H’s Healthy and Happy". Stanley Goichi Higashi, 83, passed away on September 8th at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a 1952 grad of Farrington High School, formerly with the Hickam Air Force Base Groundpower Unit, retired from the US Fed Gov’t/ GSA/PBS Federal Building in Hilo. Survived by wife, Mae (Minakawa) Higashi, sons, Sterling (Victoria), Stuart, and Steve (Yuko) Higashi; grandsons, Dorian and Donovan Higashi; sisters, Flora Y., Irene J. and Carol S.
