Evangesta "Simemar" Bongo, 84, of Wa­ianae, a re­tired Su­per­vi­sor for Ta­mura Su­per Mar­ket, Wa­ianae, passed away in a Makaha Nurs­ing home on Au­gust 25, 2017.

She is sur­vived by hus­band Sa­muel Bongo; sons, Sa­muel "Butchie", Jr. (Deb­o­rah de­ceased), Don (Jan­ice) and Ryan (Becky) and a daugh­ter, Ce­leste (David) Ames; sis­ter, Dru­cilla Abe­laye; brothers, Jerry Magsayo & Melvin (Diane) Magsayo; 13 grand­chil­dren and 24 great grand­chil­dren. Ser­vices to be held at Wa­ianae Sa­cred Heart Church on Saturday, Septem­ber 23, 2017.
