Chris­tine Leilani Wil­cox passed away Au­gust 17, 2017 af­ter a brave fight with cancer; her hus­band, Ricky Wil­cox, of twenty-six years was right by her side.

She was born on Septem­ber 9, 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Henry L. and Es­ther E. Wil­liams and spent most of her child­hood in Ewa Beach.

She grad­u­ated from James Camp­bell High School in 1983. Prior to pur­su­ing higher ed­u­ca­tion, she worked at The Old Spaghetti Fac­tory, Hil­ton Hawai­ian Vil­lage, The Black Orchid, and World Café. She re­ceived her Bach­e­lor of Ed­u­ca­tion from UH Manoa in 2003 and be­gan teach­ing English at Nanakuli High School later that year. She earned her Master of Arts in Ed­u­ca­tion in 2008. Chris­tine en­joyed par­tic­i­pat­ing in Yoga and Zumba at Im­pact Fit­ness Ohana and has a spe­cial love for her sis­ters there.

She ra­di­ated phys­i­cal beauty! The peo­ple in her life were touched by her kind­ness, warmth, big heart , and lov­ing spirit.

Her fam­ily is ev­ery­thing to her. She is sur­vived by hus­band Ricky K. Wil­cox; daugh­ter Lena Ann Sullivan; son Kanealii (Tayzha) Wil­cox; daugh­ter Vraun­wyn (Brian) Denny; son Sorin Wil­cox; mother Es­ther Fer­nan­des; broth­ers Henry (Stephanie) Wil­liams, Den­nis (Kimi) Maele, Clifford (Tricia) Wil­liams, Koa (Lau­rie) Maele, Duke Maele and Bron­son (Laverne) Maele; sis­ters Dorothea (Robert) Kaa­pana, Phoebe (Clifton) Sato, Tabitha (Kyle) Mizuno; grand­chil­dren Lo­ralei and Lo­gan, and fur-baby, Ziggy.

Ser­vices will be held on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 15th at Mililani Mor­tu­ary, Mauka Chapel, Vis­i­ta­tion: 5:30 p.m.; Ser­vices: 6:30 p.m. May we ex­pe­ri­ence glimpses of you in ev­ery Sun­rise and Sun­set. Rest well, beloved Queen. Have a sun­shine day. ~
