Iran re­jects Trump’s call to re­vise nu­clear deal

TEHRAN, IRAN >> Ira­nian of­fi­cials, 2 re­spond­ing to Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s call to re­vise its nu­clear agree­ment with the U.S., said any changes to the 2015 deal were “not rene­go­tiable.”

For­eign Min­is­ter Mo­ham­mad Javad Zarif wrote Satur­day on Twit­ter that the agree­ment be­tween Iran, the U.S. and other world pow­ers was “a solid mul­ti­lat­eral agree­ment” that Trump was “ma­li­ciously vi­o­lat­ing.”

On Fri­day, Trump again re­luc­tantly signed waivers to keep the agree­ment in place, but he de­manded that Euro­pean al­lies agree to rewrite the deal within 120 days or he would kill it.
