What’s the longest haul you’ve made with your horse?

Horse & Rider - - Saddle Chat -

Taryn Frazier Sigman I moved my horses from Washington to South Carolina. We took it easy, monitored drinking, and stopped frequently to let them rest. We also stayed at horse hotels so they could stretch their legs and lie down. Fortunately, everyone made it in excellent condition. Susan Willis I hauled two horses from Seattle, Washington, to Jacksonville, Florida. It took eight days; we stopped every three or four hours and every night. Both horses did great! Daphne Roberts We hauled my daughter's barrel horse 12 hours for a competition in Oklahoma City. We stopped after six hours of driving and boarded the horse for the night. Kathy Hutcherson I used to make regular trips between Arizona, New Mexico, and Montana. I’d drive for about 12 hours, but I had a large gooseneck trailer, and my horses had a lot of room.
