Hot Rod - - Ls3 Intake Shootout! -

We suspected the Victor series intakes were limited by the 4150 throttle-body used for testing, even on this mild LS3. These intakes really needed wilder cam timing, more displacement, or (ideally) both to really strut their stuff. None of them belonged on a cam-only LS3 and should be used on a motor that runs to at least 8,000 rpm (not just 7,000). The 4500 version of the Super Victor produced more power than the 4150 versions. Equipped with the 4500-series Super Victor, the LS3 produced 613 hp and 504 lb-ft of torque.
