Meet­ings Pro­gramme

All meet­ings will start promptly as stated, so please check your per­sonal meet­ing sched­ule and be punc­tual. The time­keeper will an­nounce the be­gin­ning and end of each meet­ing as well as any sched­ule changes so please lis­ten out for th­ese an­nounce­ments. Del­e­gates will be able to col­lect their fi­nalised meet­ing sched­ule from the Help Desk on the morn­ing of Satur­day 1st June.

Name Badges

All del­e­gates will be given a colour-coded iden­ti­fi­ca­tion badge on ar­rival at the Fair­mont Bab Al Bahr. Th­ese will en­able you to dis­tin­guish be­tween buy­ers and sup­pli­ers so please wear your badge at all times dur­ing the event.

Pri­vate Par­ties

Please note that pri­vate par­ties dur­ing HOTEC are not per­mit­ted. All del­e­gates are kindly asked to re­spect this pol­icy and ad­here to the of­fi­cial pro­gramme.


The breakfasts, lunches and din­ners from an in­te­gral part of the pro­gramme and all del­e­gates are re­quested to at­tend all func­tions.

Check­outs and re­turn air­port trans­fers

Please re­fer to the De­par­ture Board that will be posted out­side the ball­room from lunchtime on Sun­day. Please check your tick­ets be­fore­hand to make sure there is noth­ing amiss. Please make sure you set­tle your room bill and check out at least one hour be­fore your trans­fer to the air­port. The ho­tel’s check out time is 12 noon. Please also make sure your lug­gage has been loaded be­fore board­ing your trans­fer ve­hi­cle.
