The Hous­ton Po­lice Depart­ment de­buted a cold case web­site in March — fea­tur­ing older, un­solved homi­cides along with wanted in­di­vid­u­als iden­ti­fied as sus­pected killers — in hopes of re­ceiv­ing new leads. The de­tails are avail­able at hous­tontx.gov/ po­lice/cold_­cases/

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about the 1989 un­solved killing of the woman found at 5433 Wes­theimer or any other homi­cide in the city of Hous­ton should call HPD’s homi­cide divi­sion at 713-308-3600 or toll-free at 1-800-887-5800. The di­rect num­ber to the Cold Case Squad is 713-3083618. HPD also can re­ceive in­for­ma­tion by mail at 1200 Travis, Hous­ton, Texas, 77002.
