Slain Green Berets get justice
A Jordanian solder will serve a life sentence for the premeditated murder of three U.S. soldiers at an airbase in Jordan last year following his sentencing on Monday. The Green Berets — Army Staff Sgt. Kevin McEnroe, Staff Sgt. Matthew Lewellen, shown above, and Staff Sgt. James Moriarty of Houston — were in Jordan on a training mission when Cpl. Ma’arik Al-Tawayha opened fire at the base’s entrance. Jordan is a key U.S. ally in the region.
