Two family members found fatally shot

An elderly man and his daughter-in-law were found fatally shot Saturday afternoon in a home in The Woodlands, authorities said.

The Montgomery County Sheriff ’s Office is investigating the shooting deaths of Clarence Comer, 85, and his daughter-inlaw, Carmelita Comer, 62. Their bodies were found around 12:15 p.m. Saturday at a house on Larks Aire Place.

The homicide and violent crimes unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff ’s Office is investigating. Detectives do not believe there is any danger to the public.
