Boyd finds working with clients rewarding
There are many real estate agents in Houston and the surrounding areas.
“So, it is important to have a Realtor you connect with, trust and they have the knowledge and experience to help you reach your real estate goals,” said Donna Boyd, a Realtor with Sudhoff Companies.
Currently, Boyd is focusing on a luxury mid-rise condominium project, The Mandell Montrose, located in the heart of Montrose.
“There will be 24 homes, each with an outdoor living space, and more. We are excited to open our sales center this month,” Boyd said.
Montrose is one of the unique areas in Houston that attracts a diverse population. Montrose has some of the best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shopping, outdoor activities and bars. Plus, it is centrally located.
“Its proximity to downtown, Galleria and Rice Village, etc. make it an obvious choice for many people,” Boyd said.
Boyd, born in Taiwan, moved to Houston when she was 2. She grew up in Sugar Land and went to college in Austin.
“I love Houston and how much it’s grown and changed over the years. Houston is home, and I consider myself a native,” Boyd said.
Boyd initially got her license because she was interested in real estate investments.
“Later, I discovered working with clients was something I very much enjoyed, and it is very rewarding when I see my clients happy at closing,” Boyd said.
Prior to real estate, she worked as a financial advisor for 10 years. As an advisor, it was important to have strong relationships with her clients, listen carefully to their goals and provide education on services.
These are the same skills she brings to her real estate clients today.
“A good relationship is No. 1 in my book. I feel my prior experience helps me be an excellent agent for my clients,” Boyd said.
Boyd is known for being hard working, detailoriented, a good listener, forward thinking, patient and communicative.
“I always work in my clients’ best interests and have a strong desire to create wins for them. I love working with my clients, and clients say it shows,” Boyd said.
