Oprah’s not the one

Regarding “President Oprah? Awards speech stirs talk” (Page A7, Wednesday), people have we learned nothing this year about putting TV personalities in as president of the United States? Oprah? Really? I’m sure she’s a lovely lady, but she knows nothing about running a country.

The current holder of that office has run a company, and yet we are in a horrible mess. Let’s give this important decision a LOT more thought and prayer.
