Sam’s Club pares stores

Sam’s Club said it was closing 63 stores nationwide, including three locations in the Houston area, as it pivots toward e-commerce. The announcement came on the same day its parent company, Walmart, announced pay bumps and bonuses it attributed to the recent corporate tax cuts.
