While I think that children who are brought to this country illegally by their parents should have a path to citizenship, it does not excuse Julissa Arce from having used illegal documents that allowed her to work after she finished college.
People who come here illegally or overstay their visas should be deported. One of the things that makes the United States great is its adherence to the rule of law. There are many laws that I do not agree with, but I choose not to break them because I know that there will be consequences if I do.
I am not against legal immigration. Three of my grandparents were immigrants. However, every country has a right to control who and how many people can come into its country. That is a sovereign right of a country. Reggie Teer, Houston
