EVELYN AMANDA ARLDT GLOYNA

1925-2017

Evelyn Amanda Arldt Gloyna, 91, died on May 23, 2017.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 57 years, Herbert; and her son Darrell.

She is survived by her children, Karen Gloyna, and Dennis Gloyna and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Myrick Gloyna and wife Katie, Chessy, Chris and Angela; great-grandchildren, James and John; Sister, Annie Mae Hengst and husband Louis; brothers, Herman Arldt and wife Beverly and Fred Arldt and Milton Arldt; special friends, Melvin Miller, and Carolin Miller and husband Walter.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4115 Blalock, with Rev. Russell Etzel, officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church.
