Dash waive O’Sullivan

The Dash waived midfielder Denise O’Sullivan after she requested to be released from the team.

The 23-year old from Cork, Ireland, has received offers from clubs in England, Germany and Scotland.

An occasional starter and top-choice sub under former coach Randy Waldrum, O’Sullivan saw her role change under interim coach Omar Morales. Her last start was June 3 in the first game following Waldrum’s firing. She has appeared in five of six games since then, totaling 17 minutes.

Morales has picked Caity Heap over O’Sullivan as the first attacking midfield sub in the last five games.
