Trump’s judicial pick
Regarding “Judge nominee who has never tried a case OK’d by Senate panel” (Page A13, Saturday), it is outrageous that all the Senate Republicans voted to approve the nomination of Brett Talley to be a federal judge in Alabama.
Talley has three years’ experience, no trial experience and is only a blogger. Trump sent his name up, and all the Republicans approved it, and it will go before the whole Senate soon. Both U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn serve on the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary. People should call them and question why they let this happen.
