• 10215 FM 762, Richmond A living history park in Richmond featuring Fort Bend homesteads dating back to the 1830s will have re-enactment soldiers dating from the Texas Revolution, Civil War and World War I talking about their battle strategies and firing cannons for demonstration. Veterans and active-duty military members get into George Ranch Historical Park for free. At noon, reservations and a fee are required to attend the Veterans Day lunch featuring soldiers’ rations such as peanut soup, corned beef, dewberry cobbler and chicory coffee.
