• 10215 FM 762, Rich­mond A liv­ing his­tory park in Rich­mond fea­tur­ing Fort Bend home­steads dat­ing back to the 1830s will have re-en­act­ment sol­diers dat­ing from the Texas Rev­o­lu­tion, Civil War and World War I talk­ing about their bat­tle strate­gies and fir­ing can­nons for demon­stra­tion. Vet­er­ans and ac­tive-duty mil­i­tary mem­bers get into Ge­orge Ranch His­tor­i­cal Park for free. At noon, reservations and a fee are re­quired to at­tend the Vet­er­ans Day lunch fea­tur­ing sol­diers’ ra­tions such as peanut soup, corned beef, dew­berry cob­bler and chicory cof­fee.
