New Riverstone Place shopping center signs its first tenants in Sugar Land
Pacific Dental, Starbucks and Supercuts have signed up as the first tenants in Riverstone Place Shopping Center, a development of Houston-based Wulfe & Co. at the southeast corner of University Boulevard and LJ Parkway in Sugar Land’s Riverstone master-planned community. The tenants will occupy about a quarter of the 28,000-squarefoot center, which is across from The Village at Riverstone, a recently developed Kroger-anchored center by Regency Centers.
Kristen Barker, senior vice president of Wulfe & Co., represented the developer in-house. Pacific Dental, represented by Karla Smith of CBRE, leased 3,200 square feet. Starbucks, represented by Lasater Miller with the Retail Connection, leased 2,350 square feet. Supercuts, represented by Jack Burgher of Streetwise Retail Advisors, leased 1,125 square feet.
The Boucher Design Group designed the center, which is being built by Arch-Con Construction. Opening is planned in the spring. Wulfe & Co. is targeting additional service tenants and restaurants to fill the remaining space. Riverstone logged 370 new home sales in 2018, making it one of the nation’s most active communities for home building, according to RCLCO.
Melrose Apparel has leased 11,180 square feet at Little York Plaza, a shopping center at Little York and the Hardy Toll Road. Abe Charski of ACI represented the tenant. Christian Barraza, director of leasing for landlord Plaza Fiesta, represented the center.
Zero Degrees, an Asian-Hispanic fusion restaurant specializing in fruit-based drinks, has opened a 1,800-square-foot location in Lake Pointe Village East, at 1525 Lake Pointe Parkway, Sugar Land. Jennifer Fogle of Planned Community Developers represented the landlord inhouse. Walker Kane of Weitzman represented the tenant in its ninth area location.
Bubble Egg Garden Oaks has leased 1,200 square feet in 33 1⁄3 @ Thirtyfourth, at Ella Boulevard and 34th Street, from Crescere Garden Oaks. John Nguyen and Grace La of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. Suzy Thompson and Christie Amezquita of Shop Cos. represented the landlord.
RichGirl Boutique has leased 1,012 square feet at 1050 Heights Blvd., Suite 130, from MFT Heights. Chris Dray and Rachael Keener of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Wayne Landin and Litza Martinez of KW Commercial Texas Gulf represented the tenant.
HIP Fitness has opened a 1,882-square-foot studio in Lake Pointe Village East, 1525 Lake Pointe Parkway, Suite 500, Sugar Land, for its third Houston area location. Jennifer Fogle of Planned Planned Community Developers represented the landlord.
Sunshine Montessori Learning Center has leased 2,500 square feet at 4030 FM 1463 in Fulshear. Jack Gaffney, Gerald Leveritt and Doc Perrier with Finial Group represented the landlord.
Bare Naked Daiquiri has leased 2,400 square feet at 11003 Fuqua. Gerald Leveritt and Jason Gibbons with Finial Group represented the tenant.
